Sanibel:
- Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge – Bike or drive through for the tour
- Chamber of Commerce (just as you enter island on right) – Pick up schedule of events, local newspapers and restaurant menus
- Jerry’s Shopping Center – Shops and parrots to look at (or talk to)
- Shopping – Periwinkle Place and Tahitian Gardens
- The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum – Great to learn about the shells of the island,interesting displays
- Sanibel Historical Museum and Village – Collection of building and stuff from early island times
- Biking – You can rent right at the Moorings, tons of bike trails or Billy's Bike Rentals has mopeds and bikes of all styles
- Lighthouse – Nice beach, different view and fishing pier has interesting
- Check tide chart for low tide times, walk out on sand bars – remember there is a fine for taking live shells
Off Island:
- Sun Harvest – has the best juice EVER, free samples. Near the Ft. Meyers Miracle's stadium 14810 Metro Parkway, Ft. Myers
- 2 outlet malls – Small one just before the causeway toll booth, the other is off I75, go south from Daniels Parkway
- Edison / Ford Winter Estates – 2350 McGregor Blvd. Ft. Myers, FL
- Miniature Golf – Go south on San Carlos toward Ft. Myers
- Captain Matt Mitchell Fishing – Sport fishing, shelling trip and dolphin watching
